Lansing State Journal: Michigan State hockey looks to continue hot streak at Great Lakes Invitational

The No. 7 Michigan State hockey program (12-4-2) returns to action this week as it takes part in the 57th Great Lakes Invitational, an event in which MSU became a regular in 1979. The Spartans are making their 47th appearance.

The Spartans haven't won the GLI since 2009, and the program's two losses in last year's tournament were a major reason MSU narrowly missed the NCAA Tournament.
